Happy Fourth of July
July 8 2008, 5:05 AM
We had a very busy Independence holiday weekend with fireworks in Warsaw and in Clinton.
It was nice to be with family. We went to the fireworks show down at Warsaw on the Truman Lake Dam. We took a picnic supper and had lots of fun with the grandkids.
We had a wienee roast in our back yard in Clinton on Sunday night and watched the firework display right from our back yard.
The trees were in our way but we still were able to watch a beautiful display of fireworks.
Awesome!

new addition to family
July 1 2008, 4:54 AM

We have a new addition to the Carroll household. We have 6 more chickens and a bunny rabbit. We have enlarged the chicken pen and have had three eggs laid by our chickens. We are so proud and we ate our first egg today. The new chickens have been ready to lay eggs and were just waiting on Randy to build the new chicken house with nests for them to go inside and do their duty.
We have enjoyed the chickens and watching them interact with the ducks and the bunny is very fun.
I also bought another hammock with a bigger and wider area to relax in. I have only been able to relax one time so looking forward to trying it out for a longer period of time soon.
Come see us soon everybody and check out the wonderful furniture Randy has been building for me. He is very talented in this area and is really getting the hang of working with our native lumber and cedar logs he has cut. I am excited to say I really like his rustic style furniture and I think most of you will like it too.

Classes are getting hard.
July 1 2008, 4:45 AM
Even though my classes are getting harder, I have not given up. The three classes all at the same time was probably a mistake for me to take this summer, but I am determined this time to finish up my degree and get my teaching certificate.
One of my assignments is to keep this journal up to date with my blog. I am learning all kind of edcuational tools to use in the classroom with this educational technology class but I feel so overwhelmed at times.
I feel like some days I spend all day at this computer and even part of the nights I sit here with my hands in a cramped position. Tough but I pray it will be worth it all in the end.

New on line class starting
June 24 2008, 7:23 AM
My new Adolescence Psych college class starts this week. I have one discussion board and one quiz each week. I must post to the discussion board by answering a question or issue and expressing my opinion and also post something on another student's discussion. I also have to write a research paper four pages typed with whatever issues our adoloscences are facing in these current times. Not too bad, but with the other two classes and all the homework I am one busy girl.
Pray for Me!

Big Exam today
June 20 2008, 11:51 PM
I have a big exam today over three chapters in Educational Pyschology
I am allowed 70 minutes online to take the exam and if I go over that time limit then I am docked 2 points per minute on my grade.
Tough class, but I think I am doing better. My last scores were good again, so I give God the glory as I have asked my walking/prayer group to pray for me in this area.
Amazing how God always works when we do our part too.
