My Birthday Party was held at Elizabeth's new apartment.  It is Apt. 6 on Franklin Street.  Very cute and upstairs.  

Liz baked me cupcakes and an cake.  She invited my brothers and all the kids showed up too.  I was glad to see Koel and Brent and Macy.

Everyone sang Happy Birthday to me. It was very nice and I am excited to be 44 even though I do not like the numbers getting larger every year.

Hello again,

My 18 year old daughter and I went on a weekend road trip to Colorado.  We hiked up to Hanging Lake near Glenwood Springs, CO.

It was an awesome time for us and I would do it again in a heartbeat.  We loved every minute of it but were really tired driving home across Kansas.  We took some great pictures and are going to make a scrapbook together.

Joel just purchased a house with 10 acres.

He will be moving in this next month in July.

We are starting to paint the bedrooms for the boys to share.  We will be using the CARS movie theme for decor.

I feel this is a new start for Joel and his sons, Brent and Koel.

They are all really excited.

Brent is 4 years old and Koel is 18 months.
